Inspired by the vibrant blooms of the Red Flowering Gum (Corymbia ficifolia), these vases feature hand-carved sgraffito illustrations set against a satin black underglaze. Each blossom is inlaid with rich red glaze, creating a striking contrast between the bold floral colour and the smooth porcelain body.

Danica Wichtermann’s
creative process starts its humble beginning on the pottery wheel. Mounds of porcelain clay are shaped into forms that serve as canvases for intricate carving and line work. Impressions from nature inspire textures and patterns that are meticulously carved into the clay and inlaid with color to create striking contrasts.
Each piece is carefully glazed and finished to perfection. They are not only works of art but also functional, durable, and safe for everyday use.
